ROUTE

ROUTE DETAILS:

The route that was selected, and will be ridden by the event coordination team members in similar temperature and time requirements as required of each rider. Oklahoma weather seems to change on a day-to-day basis, so exact conditions on the day of event may vary. If an individual can not complete the ride for any reason, then that individual would not be allowed to run any of the stations.

Each leg of the route is ridden to ensure safety is promoted, to verify that check-in time windows are feasible, and overall difficulty of the ride is reasonable. Your safety is our number one concern, we are not promoting that you break any laws, nor put yourself at risk of senseless harm.

ROUTE OVERVIEW: Okay... here is a general overview of what to expect on the route

The route will be approximately 200 miles and take about to 3 1/2 hours to complete. There will be an alternate route for a weather call.

The selected route will take you through some of the beautiful scenery that Southwest Oklahoma has to offer. There are winding roads, rolling hills, small towns, as well as mountain and prairie views along the route to check-point stops. The stops will afford the opportunity to rest and warm yourself before continuing on. We planned the route to be long enough to be a challenge, yet short enough to be enjoyable, despite the conditions.
